Additionally, we specialise in the manufacture of bespoke, cost-effective ball bearings, engineered to meet specific customer requirements across a diverse range of applications, with a particular focus on the shower enclosure industry.

GROWTH

1984

On 22 May 1984, the vision of Stefano, Alfredo, Ferdinando, Ornelio, and Roberto led to the incorporation of S.A.F.O.R. S.r.l.
On 10 July 1984, the first component was manufactured.

1992

The Company expanded with the acquisition of a new facility in the Cervarese Santa Croce industrial area with a view to extending its machinery fleet and increasing production output.

1995

A new production line came on stream in a dedicated facility for the manufacture of ball bearings designed for a wide range of applications, with a primary focus on the shower enclosure sector.

1998

The introduction of the first CNC machine was a turning point from a production perspective, complementing the existing machinery fleet of automatic cam lathes and mechanical multi-spindle lathes.

2004

The ball bearing production line was relocated and expanded into a new 930 sq m facility, adjacent to the existing facility.

2008

In line with its commitment to enhancing production process quality, the Company achieved ISO 9001 certification.

2013

New administrative offices were inaugurated, interconnecting the two production areas and creating additional floor space for new CNC machinery.

2018

Logistics management was improved and streamlined by introducing two vertical storage systems for raw materials and semi-finished goods.

2023

Looking ahead: S.A.F.O.R. S.r.l. transitions to the next generation.
The five new young partners aim to keep pace with emerging technologies while upholding the Company’s long-standing values and mission.
